My all time favorite restaurant. The Spicy Kani Salad is tasty and plentiful and the Any 2 Rolls with Eel Sauce is always filling.

This WAS one of the best sushi places in town. Tonight, my finances were finally good enough to order Sushi Masa for the first time in months. $30 later, I didn't receive the 4 sushi rolls I ordered, but 4 "cones" stuffed with the prerequisite ingredients - certainly not the beautiful sliced rolls that are pictured. Very disappointing. After ordering the Snow Krab Roll on many occasions, I can testify that the "cone" version came with substantially less mass than it once did.
On a good note, everything tasted very good. The ingredients continue to be adequate to good quality.
But, in the end, I was left saddened and (worse) still hungry.

The 225 (850) Roll was my favorite. I was in Baton Rouge for weeks and I had to get this every time! The LSU rolls were good as well.

Normally, we really enjoy everything from Sushi Masa. This time, the Spicy Kani Salad tasted 'off' like it had a hint of moth balls. just, different. First time ever for that. one time won't stop us from ordering again. TheSesame Balls (6) were not as fresh and delicious as in the restaurant but they were still good. theDouble J Roll had a similar 'off' taste like the Spicy Kani Salad but not as pronounced. even one piece of salmon in theSashimi Deluxe tasted that way. the rest of the Sashimi Deluxe was excellent.
