The food at Mastro's (in Costa Mesa) is fantastic! Great steaks, side dishes and hors d'oeuvres. But those desserts.... OH MY!!! They are amazing! Especially the Butter Cake and Pecan pie! All you need is a spoon and perhaps a bib. The service is terrific, and no request was too much for our server to pull off. I'll definitely be going back....SOON.

asked for a medium $ 60 filet received a RARE tasteless filet so i had to cook it properly myself which was ridiculous; asked for extra butter with my bread order did not receive any butter;fries are ok. going back to Ruth's Chris

I ordered a Mastro's Signature Warm Butter Cake. But they didn't warm it and sent no utensils to eat it. For $30 that shouldn't be a problem
