Typically a food critic and most local places dont live up to my central CT supreme taste buds, I've been sorely mistaken. Every item was perfect - the LG Chicken Parm Grinder was moist, flavorful (great sauce that's not too sweet like many around the area) and was a HUGE portion; I'm a big guy can and could've gotten a small. My wife loved her Fried Chicken Sandwich or Wrap, (Wrap) again very moist flavorful and stuffed full. Fries and onion rings we crisp even after a long drive. Pies were delicious, the Peanut Butter Pie did have a slight mocha taste so be warned if that's not your thing.
Will absolutely be ordering again.
Even in this economy this is a place you can afford to take a chance on.

Got here not even warm but HOTTT!!! Was beyond delicious, there were other comments on the sauce and how good it was! I can contest to the sauce being so flavorful, the sub in itself is so HUGE that the price for the amount of food you are getting is beyond worth it!! So happy to have a good dinner tonight. Thank you for the amazing fresh food Mr Gs!! Looking forward to eating some more amazing food from here!

The Cheeseburger was delicious. Perfectly cooked with lettuce, tomato, and onion. The LG Turkey Grinder was prepared exactly as I ordered it, and very tasty. Mr. G's is one of my go-to restaurants because of the diversity of its menu. Affordable and consistent.

My LG Tuna Grinder was fantastic my nephew was not a fan of the Mozzarella Sticks. He said they are 4 huge soggy sticks with marinara sauce dumped on them.

We've been noticing the pizzas have been greasier than usual lately, but this time it was really over the top. We ordered a cheese, a pepperoni, and a ricotta pie, and unfortunately, all three had grease pooling in the boxes and soaking through the bottoms. It was actually dripping off the slices. The cheese also felt unusually heavy—almost like it was added halfway through baking and didn’t melt evenly.
We usually love Mr. G's and have had many great meals there, so this was especially disappointing. Even the kids ended up skipping it and opted for cereal instead. Hoping this was just an off night and not a new normal, because we’d really love to come back to the pizza we know and enjoy.
