We love El Tarasco - their tofu burrito is killer and they have numerous vegetarian options which are all excellent (I am also a big fan of their chile relleno). Salsas and sauces are perfect, and the food quality is always great. This is our favorite Mex takeout in Sonoma County by far.

This place is the best restaurant in Sebastopol. Been coming here since I was a kid. The carne asada is great and I really like the green salsa they make. Can't go wrong with anything here, I've never had a bad meal. Would recommend to anyone this place has been consistently good for years.

So heres the story. They were a hit and miss. The Taquitos Asada (5) were delish my husband said. My cheese enchilada a total miss as they microwaved it in the to go container and all the cheese was burnt and melted in it. Nothing left in the tortilla which had hardened. My Carne Asada plate was yummy tho the steak is cut along the grain instead of against which made it difficult to chew and cut but was still tender and well seasoned. The homemade tortillas are the bomb! We got 4 bags of chips with no salsa?? Our first order that wasnt a burrito. Guacamole is the real deal! We'll keep ordering here but it needs a little help.

shrimp taco was kinda bland. the green salsa helped a bit. only 3 shrimps in it. Will not get that again. the burrito was ok. not a fan of the red sauce. tried something new.

The tofu burrito is phenomenal and my go to order. Also have perfectly portioned kids sizes. Love this place!!!
