Three generations of the Frank family found new inspiration in England’s growing gastropub movement. In 2009, they refurbished, restyled and re-opened the traditional British pub at Five Crowns as Cor…
Absolutely amazing. Everything was on point. Order was perfect. I still long for the carvery to reopen (please?), but takeout from Five Crowns fills the need when the craving hits. The traditional Yorkshire pudding destroys what Lawrys tries to pass off in its namesake restaurants.

Always great. Love the generous portions, including plenty of Jus. Nothing could have been better, unless they reopen the Cutlery at South Coast. Hint hint. Hate that I have to order takeout from Five Crowns for a simple single meal... but still, all love all the way around!

prime rib au jus, horseradish cream, yorkshire pudding, and creamed corn were all perfect!
creamed spinach seemed a little lacking in richness and spinach flavor but still became delicious soaking up the generous jus

Whoa. As somebody who was Lawyrs, it pains me to say that tonight was a total fail. I ordered medium-rare prime rib, and I got well done. The mashed potatoes were like a clump, and they disintegrated when I touched them. The cream corn, usually a nice healthy portion, was three spoonfuls and then gone. The Yorkshire pudding was somehow both overcooked and undercooked at the same time. Weird. Please do better.

It was ok. Idk but not the same. Wedge salad was almost flavorless. Prime rib was not too different and no flavor. For $100 I was disappointed
