I am Sri Lankan - galle forte specifically. The food here is world class. Extremely authentic and high quality. Sri Lankan food is a little bit complicated to figure out what goes with what. You can easily end up with a combination that is pancakes and lasagna...both independently great but don't go together. If this is your intro to Sri Lankan food I would start with chicken Kothu and beef Gotha. Lamprais is also great in isolation.
All the starches are great - hoppers, pol roti, pittu, strings. But make sure you get gravy to go with. Fish curry and black chicken are my favorites.

Ordered from here several times- food is excellent and on par with most causal eateries in Sri Lanka. Food is spicy and flavorful as it's supposed to be.

Without any doubt, this is the best Sri Lankan restaurant in NYC. Great customer service and authentic Sri Lankan flavors in all I odored.

Love Sri Lankan food and Sigiri is as good as they come. The fish roll and cutlets are delicious. Docked a star because I ordered the dry fish curry and they sent the kingfish curry
