Love the sandos from here. The Chicken Katsu Sandwich has a good portion of protein and hits all the right savory notes. The crinkle cut Fries pairs well with everything, 10/10 would recommend.

The Tonkatsu Sandwich was amazing!
Chicken was crispy and tasty, the combined flavors were a real treat!
Both the chichen and the sandwich themselves were on the bigger side and had me full for the meal.
Also, the Strawberry Matcha Latte was nice, it was pretty close on the stronger matcha side, but the level of sweetness plus the strawberry made it a sweet combo with the sandwich.
Will 100% go back there!!!

Bread N' Chu is one of, if not my favorite Japanese sando spots in the Bay. They have some non-traditional sandos that just hit like the Spam & Egg Sandwich. If you're an egg yolk connoisseur, you're gonna love the soft boiled tea egg on this sando.
And no matter what sando you get, make sure to get a side of Fries, you won't regret it.

The sandwiches I ordered were really good. They were fresh, the bread was soft and the flavors were perfect. It is a little expensive (but the quality is worth the price) for everyday but once in awhile sandwiches from Bread N' Chu are a special treat.

Golden Truffle Sandwich (WHOLE) was by far the worst item, it had the sulphur notes of overcooked eggs and none of the pleasant texture of tamago.
The rest of the items were at least edible and the Choux Sandwich was the best of them, though the amount of strawberry relative to bread and custard was disappointing.
The Fries were a letdown after reading the positive reviews because they had the texture of baked fries from a frozen bag and went soggy very quickly.
