We've ordered the carnitas plate to go on multiple occasions, and it is so good, but never comes with salsa (bummer when it's delivered) or silverware, even when ordered. Still recommend, the carnitas, rice and beans are SO good, but plan ahead to avoid disappointment.

I ordered 6 carnitas tacos during happy hour. The bill was about $8 cheaper ordering during happy hour. The tacos are beautifully packaged. The containers make it so much better to receive your order in one piece, rather than the fillings spilled out all over the place. The tacos are garnished with the traditional diced white onion and cilantro. They come with pickled vegetables (onion, carrot, jalapeño) and salsa verde, all on the side. The flavor of the carnitas are out of this world. Absolutely exceptional. Adding some of the pickled veg and salsa verde sets it off even more. The flavors bounce on your tongue. I would definitely order from this place again. The price is unbeatable, and the quality and quantity of the food is amazing. If I could change one thing, it would be to make the salsa verde a little more spicy. Overall, I give it a 94/100. A.

It saddens me to write this review. Flores has always been an institution in my mind, with food and drink a level above the rest. Living in the neighborhood, I’d grown to love their to-go burrito. It was a high quality, sizable burrito on the Marina’s best tortilla. It even included a scoop of chips and salsa. The burrito was capable of turning a less than average week.
Flores, notably the burrito, was one of the things I told newcomers to the neighborhood about and they too grew fond of Flores. The burrito reminded me of Flores and kept visiting on the weekends with friends.
And then, in instant, the burrito fell apart. There are three degradations to the burrito that make it such that I can’t order it anymore:
1. It’s roughly half its old size. We could maybe live with this in the name of health.
2. It no longer comes with chips and salsa. We could maybe live with this given the chips have always felt like a nice complimentary item.
3. It includes noticeably lower quality of meat. This is one is hard to swallow.
In combination, these three changes make the burrito not worth ordering. Furthermore, the demise of the burrito has turned the tide on my positive associations with Flores. I’d ask that Flores management take this review seriously and reflects on the change.

CHILE RELLENO Was inedible. Chile
was incredibly tough; I could barely cut
through it.
I asked for guacamole WITHOUT onion...
It reeked of onion.
Horrible. Smelled like body odor.
I would much rather try Taco Bell!
HORRIBLE.
