The food was great, it's always been pretty consistent over the years. There weren't many prawns in the rice (which suits me anyway) but everything is down sized and pricey everywhere. We used to have Melton Palace regularly years ago now it's a special treat a couple of times a year. You guys could cut down on the size of the sauce, it's always way too much.

We ordered the Prawn Crackers, Chilli Chicken & Vegetables and Prawns in Batter Sweet & Sour to share between two. The dishes were both very tasty and the portion sizes were decent. We both enjoyed the meal and had leftovers, which I ate for lunch the next day. The flavours were even better the next day! Prawn crackers were a hit as well.
Would recommend and will order from here again.

Extra large special fried rice is not so extra large. It's only a small sized takeaway container. Also please don't order extra meat with any meat and mixed vegetables as only meat comes, no veg at all. Extra meat adds $6.50 so for $37 you only get a small container of meat.......

for as good as lunch specials are the dinner service was ?? $13 for a dollars worth of white Steamed Rice ( Extra Large ) and $11 for gluggy 1/2 cup Hot & Sour Combination Soup which was no combo. it was an unglorified tiny portion of egg drop soup which I don't like. the Honey Chicken in Batter okay but other places do it better. spent a fortune and regretted it.
