Pleasantly surprised! The (L)Hibachi Steak was wonderful! I was not sure what to expect. This dish is not just skewered meat. It's cubes of steak, almost an inch each, sauteed with fresh veggies (carrots, zucchini, onions, mushrooms) and tossed in a brown sauce. Typical to most Chinese restaurants, the sauce is incredibly oily, but the meat was cooked beautifully and the vegetables were very fresh, cooked tender crisp. Worlds above most Chinese takeout. I'd steer clear of the miso soup. It was very watered down.

First time ordering from this place. Got 79. Chicken with Garlic Sauce and shrimp fried rice... both expertly prepared! Plentiful and delicious!

They started packing the side with the entree. Which means you get half of what you pay for and they give you a crappy egg roll as some sort of consolation prize. Won't be ordering here again.

It was alot of food! The large 39. Beef Chow Mein could feed two hungry adults with some to spare. Too bad it wasn't very good. It was grey in color. Very little beef, heavy on the onions and really bland sauce. I used all the soy sauce they sent and it was still bland. And no chopsticks or fork. Guess you're supposed to eat with your fingers. I don't cook much Chinese food, but I could have done much better than this.

China Wok used to be really good 20 years ago ... I ordered directly from them and was disappointed. The hot and sour soup was all rice wine vinegar with white mushroom stem chunks. The chicken with mixed vegetables had grisly chicken, four snow peas, two carrot crinkles and two pieces of broccoli. It was bland even after adding several soy sauce packets. I also ordered a small vegetable lo mein that had no flavor whatsoever. After living in Hawaii for years, and eating real Asian cuisine, I am really picky. I won't order from Golden Wok again.
