• 08/11/24I ordered the Meatball sub with sweet peppers. It was wonderful and the roll was soft and easy to eat not a wrestling match like a lot of places. It really is the best in the area. I love the house tomato sauce. I had a side of potato salad which I am saving for later.

• 06/07/26I grew up in Newington, and Steve's Place was a staple. Not only for my family, but for my friends and everyone I knew's families, as well.
When I saw that door dash delivered from Steve's Place, it brought back so many memories, and my mouth watered just thinking about everyone's favorite...
the Meatball Parm Sand.
I've had subs from Steve's a few times, but it was 35+ years since I had their mb sand.
I ordered ½ of mb sub & a Coke. The sand was $10+. However, the order total was $24+ with all of DD's fees.
The 1st thing I noticed was the massive shrinkage. Not only in size, but in lack of mb's. The grinder used to be stacked 3 Meatball slices high from end to end!
The 2nd thing I noticed was the taste. Although it was ok, it did not taste anything like it used to. Hardly any sauce, mb's, or cheese.
I was highly disappointed and I feel that it was a waste of money. Unfortunately, I will not order this again.

• 17/01/25I order the chicken pasta salad everytime. Going to have to call to see if they'll share the recipe it's so good! Also ordered the steak sandwich which is delicious, every time!
Always delicious, and the times ive called to ask questions the customer service is amazing. I appreciate how consistent this place is!

• 05/05/23Hands down, my favorite grinders in this area. Consistently good quality. Eggplant parm was delicious, peppers are so good (don't know what they do to them!). My son loved his burger too. Just follow their recommendations for the sandwich, always perfection!

• 23/05/26Richard adamec - thank you Steve's place for putting liverwurst back on the on line menu, the 2 liverwurst sandwiches were great, the pasta with the meatball and sausage was very good, and my 2 cokes, I ate all that in 40 minutes... once again thank you very much....Ricky adamec
