I was in the mood for crispy chicken & this place doesn't disappoint 🥰 I've ordered from here before & the foods delicious, the owner is very sweet & accommodating.. plus works some magic in the kitchen! you can't go wrong with the price & portion size. I honestly can't recommend this place enough. If you're thinking about it, go for it. 
Boricua Plate - crispy chicken on the outside & tender in the middle. perfectly spiced, not breaded; owner has perfected cooking method. rice is delicious, as well as the macaroni salad. I've also had it with the krab salad & equally delicious. you can easily get  two meals from it.
Chicken Chicharron XL - first time ordering the dish (but I've had the chicken before from the Boricua Plate). delish & super thankful for portion/price. a full plate/to go of crispy chicken.

first time ordering from here & it did not disappoint 😁 would definitely order from here again & recommend. 

El Chupacabra Plate - really nice portions, pending on your hunger can make into two meals. rice has nice flavor & texture. chicken was on point, lightly seasoned & that nice crunchy crust but tender meat. the crab salad (which I think is made with fo 'crab' sticks) was excellent - nice fresh ingredients.
Boricua Plate - fresh, hot, nice crunchy crust with a soft interior. meat was nicely seasoned. 

both plates, I'd get again.. everything was hot, fresh & good! 👍 I also appreciate the portions & prices, especially nowadays.

looove the rice , pastelitos,  the Boricua Plate is so delicious ! the owner is so sweet and kind and ive had the best experience so far ! I absolutely looovveee the maccaroni salad it reminds of being back home ( kn the east coast) and getting plates from the Bodega ! love it ! Haven't found anything in houston like it yet !

Carne frita was tender and flavorful as well as the rice and gandules. Tostones were crisp and salty just like my mother makes em. Most importantly the amount of food you get based on how much you spend is very appropriate. I loved it. I highly recommend anyone interested in Puerto Rican culture to try the food and I highly recommend Puerto Ricans here in Texas who miss the flavors of home to try out Boricua Bites!
