Mixed Cheese Pie فطيرة مشكل جبن  was an absolute delight (fresh and hot still, too) and the Lady's Eye-Lashes رموش الست  were an enjoyable accompaniment (sweet and soft -- seemed soaked in syrup or something similar). Delicious.

The Dubai Chocolate Bar has a really strange after taste. Honestly, it tastes like they made it using a melted no name chocolate bar and added a teeny bit of filing (which also isnt very good). The chocolate to knafeh ratio is also abhorrent, intensifying the bitterness of the poor quality chocolate. I wanted to support local but unfortunately, I will not be buying again. Sorry, but I'm a massive chocolate connoisseur and this just really missed the mark for me :(

The Dubai chocolate bar from 8cakes in East Village is pricey, but the difference from the taste, sheer size and filing compared to this one is night and day.

This should be your go-to for fresh tasty Egyptian desserts,  breads, sandwiches and baked goods. What's more, they go above and beyond for their customers. Great food and great service for fair prices!

I tried a variety of desserts and all the sandwiches on their menu. Delicious! My favourites sweet treats are plain basbousa and the lady's eyelashes (don't mind the name; these cookies are unlike anything youve had before. Really addictive!).  If you're in the mood for something savoury, try the eggs with pastrami. Yummy!
