I mean HOLY $Hi#! This is some of the best chicken I have had since I was a kid and KFC was actually called Kentucky Fried Chicken! It is out of this world!
Captain Jay's herbs and spices are top notch!!! A combination that I don't recall ever having, but it sure does deliver!!!
The chicken itself! The legs and thighs literally exploded with juice when I bit into it!
The shrimp! The taste and freshness was awesome!
Let's not forget about the okra! The coating was firm, but had a juicy pop when you bit into it! So good, it made me stop going to "Church!"
The jalapenos were straight on well! Fresh, juicy, and pickled extra hot!
Lastly, the pricing is very affordable! With tip, all this food was under $30!
I know! I know! I was hesitant too! I always am when it comes to a local restaurant that only has a handful of locations, and hasn't been around for only a few years. But I am elated that I did!!!

I received 4 wings instead of 5 the fies were old there was clear liquid in a dirty cup With greasey finger prints i ordered orange pop. Not sure what happened becuse usually the food and service is good

16oz coleslaw and potato salad? Nope. That's what we paid for though. I even asked the girl, "that's 16oz"? She assured me it was. They were 4oz containers. Try feeding 4 people on that. What a rip off. Potato salad did not taste good either. The tenders were tender. Only good thing of the meal.

the 10pc large shrimp was over cooked it was like rubber.
the Mac &cheese was delivered cold right out of there refrigerator and I had called them in advance and asked for them to heat it I don't eat cold Mac & cheese.
the 2pc catfish fillers was cooked to hard asked for soft fry and it had so much seasoning I almost choked on it.
the fried okra it was fried alright burnt couldn't eat that either.
10pc wing dings they're ok just ok.
won't order from them again

I had a chicken so burnt and tiny, I didn’t even consider my meal a 5 piece combo because it didn’t have any meat on it. The fries were really hard, I tasted nothing my grease.
