Great burger (actually broiled/not cooked on a flat top).  Generous "beefy"patty, quality cheese, and the toasted bun is a cut above.

The Santa Fe salad was $17 and the size of a side salad. Chicken super dry and chewy, avocado not ripe. Disaappointed.

The chipotle fresh mex bowl was so disappointing. There was barely anything in the box, a few tiny shreds of lettuce, it was basically rice and some cool temp chicken. It looked NOTHING like the menu, which of course happens, but this was barely a third of what the pic looks like. I should have taken a picture, but I'd already stirred it up to taste it. I also didn't like the taste, but that may have been a preference thing. Total waste of a lot of money.

My complaint is for the Cajun chicken pasta. The bread was put in with the pasta instead of packaged separately and so it was soggy. And pasta dish was put  in the bag on its side so it was all messy. The portion was also very small.

My experience is that all food delivery (other than Pizza) is going to be inconsistent.  At least with Chili's you know that the quality of ingredients is high, and you know that the menu is pretty extensive, even if the execution can vary from very good to sub-par.  I try to keep a reasonable expectation that the food will arrive with a less-than-ideal temperature/presentation due to the  20-30 minute time-lapse to get from their kitchen to my door.   I frequently order the old-timer with cheese, which on average, is a pretty great burger (compared to many "fast food" burgers). Sometimes it's cooked just right (no pink).  Sometimes it's over cooked. But it's still a predictable, quality burger (tastes like real beef, no gristle), has deli pickle slices, fresh lettuce, tomato slice and well-above average bun.  The fries are almost always good, although sometimes you get a lot, and sometimes you get just enough. Chicken fajitas are always good (tender, moist white meat) even if the rice (semi-tasteless basmati) and tortillas ("store bought") aren't great.  Salads are the most consistent with fresh ingredients and routine assembly.  (The Caesar dressing is sufficiently "garlicky" even if a little thin -- I haven't tried the others) Beef fajita can very good, or they can also be tough and chewy.  When I stick  with the kind of menu items that will travel well and I keep realistic expectations, Chili's (by delivery) has a decent average, especially if CONVENIENCE is my main priority.   If I want sonething more consistent, I'll dine in.
