I appreciate the fresh food, EVERYTHING was fresh and not old like my last experience last year and some other locations aren't consistent either but today for lunch I ordered the Corn Pudding Potato Salad green beans , baked beans Pulled Pork and Individual Rib Bones. The ribs were fire and well done(last time they were under cooked and super hard on outside so it must have been a fast cook or something. I was satisfied with everything. Corn Pudding was moist and not dry and old like last time either. They used to give corn bread with the order automatically and I didn't get any this time so I guess you do have to pay for it now . I want to order again but I have to get back to work. Thank you!

• 24/02/25Haven't had City BBQ in a while. I'd heard they had a few new items, so wanted to check it out. We got the 2 meats/ 2 sides dinner and the spicy smokestack sandwich. Got the Ribs and leg quarter for the dinner. The ribs were tender and well smoked, meaty too. The chicken, though a good portion size was not as good. Nicely browned but tasted like it had spent more time in an oven than a smoker. Also could've benefited a couple extra minutes cooking. The gr. beans and greens were good. The brisket baked bean were flavored well but could've used a little more time to thicken. The Smokestack had a jalapeno cheddar sausage with just the right little kick, pulled pork, creamy slaw and sauce on a deli bun. A delicious combination, however the pulled pork lacked smokiness which would have set the sandwich off! The double chocolate cake was dynamite! The peach cobbler was mostly cobbler. Otherwise, it was a pretty decent meal. May have been just one of those days.

• 29/04/22Brisket Sandwich was all fat. I got 2 small pieces of brisket on the sandwich. There wasn't any taste to the brisket. Usually it has a nice smoked taste. Definitely wasn't worth the price. Disappointed this time around.

• 20/07/26The meat was tender. I love how it was packed on delivery. Not liking things touching made it even better. The protions were great. The flavor was there in the chicken. I have not finished it all but I ordered after it was catered to my job because it was it was so good.

• 14/05/26My food came drenched in oil. I ordered the 3 meat and double brisket it came with 5 dried brisket. My hush puppies was dry my wife food also came with a lot of oil. She order chicken and two sausages, ask me how and why her food came with so much oil in it the world my never know. The bake beans had a oily taste to it as well.
