Omaha's vegan legacy continues with Fifth House serving up stellar vegan fare in Blackstone. Menu highlights include fun vegan wings, buffalo blue burger, oyster mushroom fried chick'n, almond boy bro…
The Hot Dip did not have pita bread and was instead just standard toast. Was surprised that it cost $22 for two pieces of bread cut up, a couple veggie tray staples, and dip. The dip itself tasted great, as did the rest of the meal. I wish the Cabonara had more than two small pieces of "meat" but what are you gonna do.
Ultimately, this is one of the only truly vegan places in town and at least everything tastes good!

Bruh. I didn't even get what i ordered. The Truff Hour didn't have the bread it said it comes with, and for a "shareable" portion i could still see plenty of the bottom of the box it came in. And the almond brownie was just a hard AF plain brownie. I feel like spending $80 would at least get me what I ordered and maybe a bigger portion.

The biscuit was super salty and like a brick, the pot pie was wet and poorly baked, the Antiestablishmentucky Fried Chick’n had no salt to it at all, and the only thing the Home Fries taste of is nooch
We were kinda happy Modern Love was changing, cause we weren't a fan of the practices there, but Fifth House has no flavor and poor cooking
I also didn't get the Millstream Ginger Beer that I ordered, no idea what happened there
Not worth the price, not worth the time

20 bucks for this is insane.
The noodles were hard as well couldn't even eat.
House fries? Over cooked potatoes...
I walked in wasn't greeted the person in front and behind were though. No big deal but when this is the food i received i had to say something.
Cookie was dry no good also.

Oooo I want to support our all-vegan restaurant so badly but the often-poor quality and inconsistency don’t justify the prices. One time I may get the best Reuben I’ve ever had in my life, the next time it’s soggy and only has one limp piece of seitan on it. To-go orders are a nightmare - I don’t think I’ve ever gotten everything I’ve ordered. If you patronized Modern Love, Fifth House is essentially that place at its absolute worst.
I was so excited about this place but it’s not worth the dice roll for what it costs. And - this one’s just petty - HOME FRIES?! The worst version of potato?!?!
