This might be heresy, but the meatball sub tastes very similar to Subway.
While i'm not a huge fan of Subway, I do like their meatball sub. So not a bad thing. It's bread cut makes it way easier to eat though.
Everytime i've gone there it's always been consistently good. There are times where you may have to wait, but they keep churning out pretty good tasting subs.

The subs are great but the cup if chilli for $4 each were less than a 1/4 of a cup. Will never order their soups again. Its a rip off

I got a meatball special for half off. It was good. I might have rated a 4 for that specific sandwich, but that's because I feel like full-price it would be expensive for what you get. The other sandwiches I bet are better. The taste was good though, bread was great. service was quick and friendly. I'll be back!

Sandwich and chili were great as usual, but that mac n cheese...OMG!! It is cheesy and gooey and spot on!!

Unfortunately, the sandwiches were soggy and piled on with sauce. On the Turkey Bacon Ranch ™ I had asked for no onions and there was onions on the entire sandwich. And it was a turkey bacon RANCH but the sauce on the sandwich was slathered in mayo.
The Italian was in a similar position sauce wise and it really dulled the flavor. This was our first time having firehouse subs, and while we may be willing to try again it wont be for awhile. We did receive it in a timely manner and everything was with it, but it was very disappointing.
