Heaven in a bowl. First time I've eaten food from them, and I will be back!! So fresh and full of flavor, perfect mix of spice, sweet, and texture. The Pao's are delicious as well, great way to take the edge off the spice and make you go back in for mre.

The bowl was great. The Pao bun was fine but I didn't realize you only get one and it's a small bun. I thought you'd at least get 2. Next time I wound bother with a Pao bun. The half dozen are over priced for what they are.

Everything they do is great. The only problem in the mix is Doordash and its wonky (AI) logistics that mess up staff and drivers.
My only bare complaint about Five on Black is *sometimes* consistency on double meat (which I always order), but that is a very subjective thing and not everyone is a six foot two hundred pound dude.

I paid for extra chicken and collard greens - every collard green in the whole bowl is in the photo on my fork and I don't even think I got half of a standard portion of chicken. Usually it's amazing here, I would not recommend ordering during the lunch rush.

We love Five on Black but tonight's service was absolutely unacceptable. I'm not sure if they need to rethink their packaging but I re-ordered after receiving a huge mess the first time, only to have the same problem. Sauce spilled all over everything in the bag. at least the containers weren't open like the first order. I was tempted to blame a careless dasher, but twice in a row speaks to a problem at the store, I feel.
