Izzy's corned beef sandwich is always good, tender, and flavorful. The potato pancake is crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. I always order 2, and they are really filling. Next is the beef barley soup with a side of rye bread for dipping. OMG!

I ordered the hamburger & it was one of the best I've ever had! The carrot cake is a large serving & amazing & I love the rice pudding as well. Every order gets to me quickly & is perfect. I recommend!!

Perfect! Order was correct and arrived packaged well. Finally, ordered a Matzo Ball Soup (Friday's Only) and I wish they would offer it on more days. It was delicious! I really like their version with the pastas, veggies, and chicken. The matzo ball is large and I broke it in smaller pieces like I normally do when I have had other restaurants matzo ball soup. The broth was so good in the soup! Our sandwiches were good as always and the Olive Tapenade is especially liked by the hubby. Cabbage soup was just okay that was part of the Half-sandwich, Soup and Potato Pancake Special choice.

mediocre portion. boring thin store brand style untoasted rye. I figured since the cheese was melted and its a hot sandwich the bread would be toasted, let alone thicker / or even marbled. not really big compared to others around town either. pay a dollar more get 25-50% more elsewhere. I liked the potato salad. kinda hoping for pickle spear instead of couple chips. super meh.

Izzy's Famous Reuben - Whole was five stars!!!! The Potato Pancake was to die for! My food tasted clean and well prepared. Only gave four stars due to the Carrot Cake size/taste vs the price. The scale is most certainly off balance. As you can see I paid $6 for a sliver of Carrot Cake. I didn't even eat the icing as it was too sweet. I say cut the sugar in the icing and give adult sized portions. $6 is waaaaay over priced. Never buying dessert from Izzy's.
