• 23/07/26Love their sushi! Sushi comes with container of soy sauce and is easy to dip sushi. The noodles are like a spaghetti style noodle. Very large portions and very well cooked. Miso soup is great and it has small square shaped tofu for better texture. Deep Fried avocado tempura is a great appetizer. Its very rich and saucy.

• 30/08/26Everything was amazing as usual. Excellent flavor and value per serving. The only complaint I ever had with them is from my recent order where I branched out and tried the R40. Smoke Salmon / Kunsei Sake. I thought when doing sashimi that it would simply be raw salmon slivers. Which it was, but it had aromatic flavors on it due to the garnish round it. Tasted like potpourri . I wanted straight raw salmon that was not flavored. And for $6 I expected more than 2 tiny slivers. Not worth it at all. Other than that, they have always delivered. Highly recommend!

• 01/12/23Japanese Express is hands down the best japanese food in Marion. There has not been a single time that I've ordered in store or doordashed from there and NOT enjoyed my food. They go above and beyond every single time and the quality of their food is unmatched.
The pics I posted are after I've added the sauces that I enjoy on my meal. I promise you that you won't regret ordering from them. My favorite meal is the Hibachi Steak w. Mushrooms (Entrée with an extra cup of teryaki sauce. For the appetizer, I get the Las Vegas Roll, but I change the meat in it. I get crab instead of shrimp with extra eel sauce and it is *chefs kiss*.
Do yourself a favor and order from them. They have the best quality of food, best customer service and I personally have NEVER had them mess up my order. I have no doubt that IF there were a mix up or mistake, they would 100% make it right immediately. Love on them and their business because they go above and beyond :)

• 21/02/24every pay day I get something from here as a treat for myself, and I'm server disappointed. the sauce has a nice taste, the rice is perfect, and the meat (seafood or meat) is never over cooked and is very nice to eat. I've ordered sushi a good few times too and that's a delicacy marion sorely needed!
