I ordered some warm fried foods on a rainy day because I wanted to eat them, and they truly live up to their reputation. At Mississaga, the tonkatsu is definitely a katsuya.

Used to love Katsuya for their portion size and flavour. The red carbonara sauce was always my favourite, it used to be full of flavour and spicy as well but now it's just bland. There used to be a lot of seafood in it, bacon too and again barely any of those are in the sauce. Definitely disappointing to see a much loved restaurant lose its quality.
I hope the other dishes are still the same atleast!

Red Carbonara Sauce was really thick and had very little seafood. But the Katsu portions were amazing! Cabbage salad and salad dress was also tasty. I would buy again. Also the food tasted very fresh/new. Turn over rate might be good here (no old food).

The rice was sticky like it had been overcooked. And the sauce did not go with the meat. The flavour is off. I don't think it was worth the price.
