The Kare Kare with Lechon Kawali was delicious! The lechon was surprisingly crispy even after sitting in sauce during delivery. I initially thought it was pretty pricey until I saw how bif the portions were! Excited to try other items on their menu.

A few weeks ago I had the Pork Adobo, this week I got Chicken Adobo - delicious and well packaged . I definitely prefer the Chicken more. The lumpia and turon are still hot and crunchy, as were my kids burgers and fries. I've been looking for Filipino food out here in Sac that's actually good and I'm hooked!

I got the chicken adobo with lumpia and garlic rice. The chicken was very flavorful and veggies were cooked well. The garlic rice was also yummy! Everything was well packaged, and arrived hot and fresh. Will come back to try other items on the menu.

Kare Kare with Lechon Kawali was a fantastic combination of 2 classic Filipino dishes. I loved the crispy skin and tender meat of the lechon with the nutty Kare Kare sauce. This is traditionally cooked with oxtail, but subbing lechon is a delicious alternative and I loved it. Also, sliced eggplant, bok choy and green beans were included making this a nice rounded meal. Large portions and tasted very fresh. I was unimpressed by the 1 Pork Lumpia however as I detected no meat and instead found a mushy cabbage mix inside of a crispy lumpia wrapper. Was a veggie lumpia accidentally given? Even if so, it should be made with firmer vegetables like carrot, green beans, sweet potato, jicama, etc. so it doesn't become mushy inside, in my opinion. I would definitely order the Kare Kare with Lechon Kawali again, however.

The food was amazing tasted just like home cooked Filipino I grew up enjoying. Hands down the best Filipino spot in Sac. The Lechon Kawali w/ Veggies was perfectly cooked and perfect level of saltiness. Not too tough, chewy, or dry.
