I will have to order extra onion & cilantro as it is nearly non existent in the Quesabirria tacos. For $5 a piece there's a lot of cheese, but the flavor is great. Frijoles / Refried Beans and Arroz / Spanish Rice are great sides. Different flavor than competitors so that is nice.

La Estrella used to be my go to place for authentic street tacos. But when I ordered today, my tacos came mixed with the very large grilled onions and hardly had any raw onion and cilantro on top. Their el pastor used to be so flavorful and tender but I just wasn't impressed this time. They also pilled massive, grilled, oily onion slices on top and in the middle of the 5 tacos packed in the to go box so when I tried to pick up the tacos to eat them, the corn tortillas were so soggy that they were just shredding apart. I'm not sure when they started doing all of this new stuff because it's been a while since I've been there but if you're looking for straight up authentic street tacos with flavorful, tender meat topped with raw onions and cilantro, this is no longer the place. Or maybe make sure you tell them exactly what you want and hope they don't put the new spin on your tacos. Pico was great and chicken quesidilla were still pretty great. But tacos definitely changed and I won't be ordering them from La Estrella again. I would give them another try and just ask for the old, authentic set up but with the meat being as tough and dry as it was, there is no reason for me to try them again. Still will be my go to when I'm craving a more authentic quesadilla and some well chopped pico but tacos are out for me.

This pregnant lady is having trouble having an appetite for and keeping down food, but I surely am about to eat these whole XL rice & beans w queso.... YUM!

For the price the quesadilla was extremely small you have to pay for chips that comes with the dip give you a small bag. Taste is good. But you should get more for the price and I paid almost 5$ for each birra so idk

So the Burria tacos were amazing! The menu was a little misleadin, i didntg realize it was only 1 burria taco i was getting and the picture for the quesadillas showed chips, but we just got the quesadilla. The food was all absolutely delicious, and the verde sauce and jalopeno Jalapeño Con Queso were extremely spicy but incredible flavor!
