• 10/06/22I used to write restaurant critiques for a magazine in the Philippines and HAD to try this place. I have been so eager to try Manila Eats for so long. I am incredibly homesick for my family and their home-cooked meals prepared with love.
We had Lechon Kawali (fried pork chunks), Sinigang (sour pork soup), pork lumpia (basically egg rolls done right), Sago at Gulaman, and Sapin Sapin. Everything was SPOT ON!
I admittedly cried when I tried the food from here today. It was JUST like being back home eating with my family. Haven't seen them for 3 years since the pandemic started and have been longing to be around them at the dinner table, spending time, and just being together.
I never dreamed there would be a Filipino restaurant so close to where I live now! I may not have my family here but I can pretend they are until we are all together again. Thank you so much, Manila Eats. Look forward to meeting you all one of these days.

• 19/02/22Food made me feel like home. Delicious and made with love. The lechon kawali is the family favorite. We can't get enough. The pork chop is tender and pairs well with the rice.
