I asked them to add the beef stew special and they did!! It was so delicious and I was so happy!!  Maples Restaurant has never disappointed and I've been a patron for 50 years.  If you love home cooking, this is the place to go. You will love it.

I ordered a steak salad. There were eight little pieces of steak about the size of dog kibble in the salad, which was $20. The lettuce was rusty colored half shredded half tore which led me to believe it came from various places?  ￼ There were two slices of cucumber that looked old and mushy. There were three tiny grape tomatoes, which were oranges and shriveled. And three huge slices of sweet pepper that I had to take out of the bowl and cut into bite side pieces myself. I had to replace the lettuce that came with a salad with lettuce from my fridge. I had to add cucumbers. I had to replace swiss cheese with mozzarella cheese.  Who puts sliced Swiss cheese on a steak salad? Doesn't make sense  & does not go together. This was a huge disappointment. ￼ Between the lack of steak in the salad and the old dried up discolored vegetables, I will never never order a salad from the maple again.

I had a hot beef and home fries.  I've been a patron since 1964.  Beef was good, excellent gravy, but the home fries were burnt and inedible.

Maple is always pretty good. Been going randomly for years. Roast Beef with gravy and fries is always good. Really like the Cole slaw, always tastes nice and fresh and it's the way I like
It. Tendies are also good. Decent sized portions. I've had plenty other meals on the menu and all good.

Food was cold when we received it, the soup - beef barley- cost $4.50 a bowl yet when we measured it was less than a cup, the mashed potatoes had NO GRAVY and the serving size was too small.  The fried fish, once reheated, was very good.
     I have eaten food from or at at the Maple Restaurant for over 63 years now, lived down the street from the Pappas family, gtew up with Tommy and his sister, and I am disappointed and disenchanted with the way things are today.  Why aren't the daily specials available?   It seems like the current system is going to eventually run it into the ground.
