Big Mac via DoorDash – A Hungry Night’s Gamble
Craving hit hard around 9 PM — you know, the kind where only a Big Mac can hit the spot. I took the lazy route and hit up DoorDash, crossing fingers that my burger dreams wouldn’t turn into a lukewarm disappointment.
Delivery time was decent — about 25 minutes — and the bag showed up with that familiar McDonald’s scent that makes you feel like a kid again. The Big Mac itself? Surprisingly intact. The sesame seed bun was still fluffy, lettuce hadn’t escaped all over the place, and that legendary “special sauce” was well distributed, not drowned.
The patty was warm-ish — not fresh off the grill, but not sad and soggy either. Fries were… meh. Still salty and golden, but cooled just enough to remind me I wasn’t eating them in the restaurant. Next time, I might toss them in the air fryer for a quick save.
Overall, it wasn’t perfect, but it hit the craving just right. DoorDash made it easy, and McDonald’s delivered on nostalgia more than temperature. Solid 7.5/10 — would repeat on a lazy night.

Iiterally one of the worst chicken sandwiche ever. For 7 dollars to get a half a chickenare you kidding me. Come on.

The 2 cheeseburgers were inedible. The buns were soaking with grease. You could squeeze the grease from the bottom bun.

the hashbrowns left literal puddles of brown grease on the bags and the plates we put them on. the cappuccino tasted burned and like it had some sort of chemically tasting nastiness. couldn't even drink it.

The 4 Piece McCrispy™ Strips Meal seemed a little burnt, but the flavoring on them was still good. But everything came as I requested, so I'm a happy customer!
