We love Mr. Wok. Best Chinese food we have found (after trying manyyyyy places) in Sarasota. Recommend fried rice, sesame chicken, cashew chicken, eggs rolls....and more. Everything we have tried there is fantastic, and it always arrives quickly and hot.

I have ordered from this restaurant several times in the past and it has always been good. The food I received today did not even seem like it came from the same restaurant. I can't even eat it. It's that bad. I ordered the seafood delight and all of the crab meat and scallops were so mushy they were like a mashed potato texture, while the shrimp and lobster were so tough. I can barely chew them. I also ordered wonton soup that tasted like water. I don't think it had any salt in it at all. Also, the meat inside the wonton was almost black. I've only ever seen a light color or almost pinkish meat inside of a wonton.

Oh my so happysomeone else left a good reviewso I took a chance. The food was piping hot and 79. Fresh Pork with String Beans was amazing and the 14. Szechuan Style Dumplings (15) flavor was perfect. First time, I will return! Yum

One of the best takeout spota in town. Excellent egg drop soup & egg rolls. Orders are always accurate.

The fried 4. Steamed or Fried Dumpling (8) were large and pan fried only on one side. the other was very soft, found that odd. The 28. Roast Pork Fried Rice was pretty good, but I expected more flavor, the portion size was massive which was nice. the 40. Vegetable Lo Mein was good, also lacking robust flavor. the 1. Pork Egg Roll was good, also unexpectedly and unnecessarily massive. overall would order 28 and 40 again. the comments really made me expect the worst, but it wasn't so bad. this is better than the rest of the places around here.
