This was my first time trying whipped okra stew. I must say I'm absolutely hooked!! My daughter and I found out about Nigerian Kitchen two years ago while walking through the Uptown area. My daughter tried the egusi and I had the goat pepper soup as well as their pounded yam. We knew then, that we would be "Forever customers". They are consistent in proportion, attention to detail and service. I enjoy the authentic flavor and the love put in every dish!! I thank you for talking with me about my order and making sure it was so delectable!! I ordered fish and goat with my whipped okra. The goat was tender and the fish was cooked just right. This dish has a slight kick, (I love heat) but it goes great with the pounded yam.. Chef's Kiss!! I will be back at the end of the week!!

Really solid Nigerian food. The whipped okra soup was flavorful with fresh fish and good spice level. The dark fufu was smooth, sticky, and not too sour — perfect texture. Portions were generous and the food tasted authentic and homemade. Definitely one of the better African food spots I’ve tried on the road.

The Amaka, gbegiri and ewedu were topnotch. I expect the rice and ayamashe to taste the same. Even my white colleague enjoyed it. The portions were also filling and fresh. I would definitely order again. The fried fish and goat meat were also succulent.

Food was delicious! Portion is perfect! Fufu was hot & moist! Went great with the egusi. The side of plantains was plentiful! I was pleased with everything! Would absolutely order again!

I ordered the Jollof Rice which was very delicious i ordered the small but it was actually alot I also ordered the Fried Plantain it was good and it was a large portion as well I also got the individual Chicken, Goat and fried Fried Fish which was also very good and well seasoned it was also spicy but not too hot and i also got the Pounded Yam which was very fresh and hot like it was just prepared..Overall everything was excellent I will be ordering again
