• 09/04/25I got the General Tso Chicken combination platter with Vegetable Fried Rice, a side of Vegetable Lomein, and Krab Rangoons. Everything is absolutely fresh, hot, and delicious!!

• 15/02/26Our first time trying oriental garden.
To be honest we have been looking for a Asian restaurant that has a consistent clean bill of health from the health department. ChatGPT generated a list, a short list I might add, of Asian restaurants that have a good track record, and oriental garden was on that list.
We were pleasantly surprised. The broccoli with garlic sauce was excellent!. The broccoli was firm, not overcooked, fresh and the sauce was perfect, although next time I will ask them to make it with a little bit more heat/spice
My husband enjoyed the shrimp with lobster sauce . It had a nice quantity of good sized shrimp and the sauce had a good flavor.
The dumplings were fantastic!
We tried the boneless sparerib , which to be honest, was fresh, and they had a good flavor, but we still prefer spareribs on the bone.
All portion sizes were generous and again ,everything seemed to be fresh, which was really important!
The eggroll was excellent, as was the rice.
we were happy with everything about oriental garden and plan to order from them again😃

• 12/11/22Always heeds my special requests! Best in Deland. The Fried Dumplings are the real fried dumplings, not the thin dumpling dough!! Huge portions and perfectly seasoned!

• 27/11/25Portions were small for the price and the food was vlas bland, fried rice had no flavor, general tso's chicken was tasteless despite asking it to be extra extra spicy, wonton soup was watery. I normally order from New Peking but they were closed today. Won't be ordering from here again though.

• 29/07/22It was okay. The "quart" size seemed really small, especially for the price, I've had pints of food from other places that had more. Also, way too many bell peppers.
