Ramen-San is synonymous with some of the best ramen in the Midwest. If you are looking for a comforting, flavour-packed bowl on a cold Chicago evening, this is the place to go.
I have only visited the location at 52 W Hubbard, so I can confidently recommend that one, although I expect the others maintain the same high standard.
My favourite dish is the kimchi and the fried chicken ramen. The Tan Tan San is excellent, and I always add chashu pork for protein—it takes an already delicious dish to the next level. Sushi is ok but this place to me is for ramen.

This place has the best Crab Rangoons I've ever tried - and I try crab Rangoons everywhere. It's not particularly close. The ramen is also spectacular. Super great quality and consistent. I order the 10 Hour Tonkotsu at least once a week because it is so good. The TanTan-San is also incredible. One of my favorite restaurants for sure.

Their packaging and quality has gone down hill. I will not be ordering from here again. Recommend high five ramen instead. Broth everywhere and their quantity of broth they give is less than before in addition to being spilt all over the bag.

stayed warm for a 30+ min drive, Pork Belly Bun was delicious! sweetish kimchi pickle was a good contrast! 10 Hour Tonkotsu was pretty much perfect! i wish the egg was marinated with soy and not quite as sweet. didnt love the huge amount of bamboo shoots but thats just me. i would definitely and will be ordering again!

We have ordered from this location (Streeterville) multiple times and hoped each time it would get better, but it hasn't. The tan tan san broth was way too salty. The packaging was poor so both broths leaked and soaked the bag. They never give enough broth for the tonkatsu. Better to order from the River North or Fulton Market locations. This location isn't good when you go in to pick up either, as we've had issues then as well.
