• 24/04/26A couple of years ago I left an average review for Robert Earl's. In a rare occurrence I actually had the owner reach out to me and offer a free meal upon my return, which instantly made me a fan because it says how important a customer centric experience is to his business.
I felt bad that I live in Sacramento and hadn't had a chance to return to Robert Earl's in a significant amount of time but I was committed to returning based upon the owners desire to satisfy a customer.
In full transparency, I didn't accept the free meal offered by the owner (I sincerely appreciated the jesture) as I didn't want it to in any way impact my review. I'm happy I returned, it wasn't only good it was EXCELLENT!! The ribs and the rib-tips were cooked to perfection, VERY tender and favorable. The sauce is sweet with a hint of heat which is excellent as it doesn't overpower the flavor of the meat. The Greens were tender, the bake beans were good and didn't taste like they had soaked in the restaurants BBQ sauce. But the real star is, as it should be, the BBQ!! Everything else after that is a bonus!!
I HIGHLY recommend Robert Earl's, and will ALWAYS make an effort to eat there whenever I'm in Southern, Ca.

• 03/04/26the bag was wet from container of sauce,it was cold,the brisket is fatty, the link was undercooked and rib tips chewy. greens are good, mac and cheese tolerable

• 04/07/26They called after an 45 mins of ordering being submitted stating g it would take an 1hr and half to make order because they ran out of the meats I selected I then asked what meats they had and the guy over the phone said only ribs and so I okay give me the ribs then the order get here and it's a whole dry chicken

• 26/01/26I asked for collard greens got Mac n cheese (yuk) very nasty but I asked for 1 lb rib tip I got spare ribs and everything was horrible you need to close up I spent $50 and this is disgustingly bad
