Shiso is one of the best restaurants in St Pete, hands down. The dirty rice is one of our faves, and also love the jackfruit or chicken bao buns. Ragoons are a great appetizer. Also very large portions, so youll get plenty of deliciousness.

My partner and I have consistently ordered from this place every month or so when we just don't know what to get and want a safe food we know we'll like, the flavors are almost always the exact same, the only time it's different is the one time we ordered early in the morning. There's so much food for what you pay for, my fiance and I get one thing of Bang Bang Chicken Dirty Rice each time and that's enough to make us full. The chicken is always so crispy and fresh each time we get it. I will continue to order from here for the foreseeable future.

I pre-ordered Shiso Crispy last night and the order arrived late. The total was $73, which already set a high expectation for the food, but unfortunately it didn’t deliver.
I ordered two bao buns and they tasted like they had orange chicken from Panda Express on them, which felt pretty underwhelming for the price. For the main course, I got the BBQ beef short rib dirty rice. It was $28, but the dish was about 90% plain white rice with yum yum sauce and some seasoned meat. The meat itself actually had good flavor, but the portion balance didn’t make sense—paying $28 for mostly rice felt ridiculous.
I also tried the butterscotch banana dessert. It tasted good, but definitely not worth the $10 price tag.
Overall, the food wasn’t terrible, but for the prices they charge, the portions and quality just didn’t match the cost. Between the late delivery and the value for money, I don’t see how this justifies what they’re charging.

Very expensive for the quality. I recommend the sticky rice short ribs tho a little dry. The bang bang chicken was way too salty. The lobster Rangoon at $3 a piece (which includes like a tablespoon of cream cheese with lobster waved over it was way too expensive). The gyoza was just okay. Thought I found a new happy place for Asian food but have to keep looking.

Bang Bang Chicken Dirty Rice is very good. Love the flavors and food was still fresh when I received it. One order was enough for me and my daughter to split and have seconds. I would definitely order again.
