I think 4 to 4.5 stars is fair. Was it the best barbecue I've ever had? Probably not. Was it pretty good and satisfying? Yes.
No chewy fatty pieces-this would be a very different review if so. Good portion on the sandwich, and I appreciate the sauce on the side so it's not soggy. Both sweet and smokin (not spicy) sauces were good, although nothing too complex. I would love if they made the sauces fresh instead of pre-packaged pouches. 
Cornbread was very good. I prefer sweeter cornbread, and it was sweet, but better than a boxed brand. I would order again if I'm craving barbecue, but I can't speak for other menu items. It wasn't too much (I feel sometimes portion sizes are a bit wild and I'm bad at remembering leftovers), but it was satisfying. I do think the singular sandwich could be a little less expensive ($6-8.50 would be more fair).

Whoa Sonny's! This Pulled Chicken BBQ meal with homemade coleslaw and tangy BBQ beans was off the charts good. I filled up so well on this that it may take me until tomorrow morning to eat the Cinnamon Sugar Donut Holes. My only minor complaint was that the cornbread was a little dry but it did have the perfect bit of sweetness.

I will give the benefit of the doubt that some food doesn't travel well. But my child wouldn't even eat the chicken tenders. She liked the tator tots but they weren't crispy, they had steamed in bag on the drive. Same with the Fried Okra . I'm not sure it was fully cooked to begin with. I grew up on okra, I like it fried or pickled but this just tasted like frozen cut okra was breaded and fried. So the breading was warm but the inside was barely past room temp. And the meats were very fatty. We got sliced pork and sliced brisket. Mac and cheese was soft like overcooked noodles. It didn't taste like fresh cooked food, it tasted like chain frozen reheated food. For $90 I wish they would have at least done a better job packing the food for a delivery order so the crispy items weren't steaming in their containers.

I was just there last week in the store on 19 and Curlew and it was much better than delivery tonight. Not enough BBQ sauce, No cinnamon butter for my sweet potato. Smaller portions. Especially the sides and Banana Pudding. I guess we will make sure to come in next time, which means we just wont buy from you guys as often.

Ribs literally  burnt black, beef brisket and sides were cooked to normal temperatures.  Would not recommend ordering from them unless at off-peak times when they are more likely to pay attention to what they are actually serving. At the prices charged, I expect food cooked properly.
