• 6 days agoGreat selection for a single diner. The meat is always tender and still warm. Mashed, in separate container covered, side salad the perfect addition w/ great Cesar. They even throw in a fresh grilled (still warm) garlic bread slice. Always great every time!!

• 28/02/26All we had left to photo are our empty containers!! The olive oil cake has been one of our favs for years. It's very flavorful and a lovely dessert. Same for the carrot cake which has perfect cake to frosting ratio, plus it's not overly sweet. As I write this I'm trying to think of a better carrot cake in Santa Monica/LA area and nothing comes to mind. It's that good! Tonight we ordered the grilled steak plate with mashed potatoes and their arugula salad. YUMMY!!! Good sized portions but he wanted the whole order to himself lol. I had the grilled chipotle barbeque chicken plate with mashed potatoes and arugula salad. Tonight we had their freshly baked slice of bread with our order. Like I said in the beginning, nothing left to photo for my review. Delish. I'd say that for the money, the tatste, the freshness, and the portions, Tender Greens is tough to beat. Their crew in the kitchen and out front are also responsible for pulling it all together and making the Santa Monica location one of their best, if not The Best Tender Greens in LA. Anyways, enjoy!! • 22/05/25Such large portions! I got the country-style fried chicken with such amazing creamy mashed potatoes that it made me homesick! The spinach salad was fresh and delightfully crispy ! I recommend this great restaurant!

• 28/04/25The food arrived and the bag was not sealed so concerned to eat it. I looked inside to find what looked like half of a salad and extremely well--done steak when expected rare to medium-rare as said in description. I threw it all out as may have been tampered with and the steak was grey.

• 27/04/24Partially DD's fault they had the order prepared with no drivers available, so the steak went from the medium I ordered to well (uhg) it was a bit fattier than I like as well with points for good flavor. The veggies are mostly mushrooms ("uhg" for me, but maybe a "yay" for someone else). Mashed potatoes are a 12/10, but gravy is a 7 (8 for being packaged separately). Missing the waiter for kids drink. Pasta in Mac n cheese and tomato sauce got over cooked. Tomato sauce a bit spicy, but okay. Mac n cheese is horrible. Buttermilk fried chicken in buttermilk fried chicken plate is AMAZING.
