I ordered a Short Rib Dinner and the piece of meat was half fat, very little meat, which is not fair for the price you pay. Furthermore, in the order you have options to choose extra sides, but the dinner came only with sauted spinach (very bitter) and mashed potato (which tasted okay).

The food at the Local is always solid, but they picked the wrong time to raise prices 20 percent across the board, while simultaneously shrinking portion sizes by about the same amount. I knew the takeout bag felt lighter than normal when leaving - as it happens, they switched their regular containers to smaller capacity ones. Hoping this is a one-off. Though who knows, maybe this is part of a new weight loss program they're piloting? :-) But you still felt shortchanged if you were taking out vs. dining in.

The $14 DOLLAR addition of steak tips to my salad included 4 minuscule tips. Sure, I took the gamble ordering from a new place over DoorDash, but damn they did me dirty.
