I tried the Sampler Platter and the Mac & Cheese with brisket. I was a little hesitant at first because BBQ can be hit or miss, but I'm so glad I gave this place a chance.
I had just gotten off work and was starving, and this meal definitely hit the spot. The portion sizes were incredibly generous, especially for the price. A lot of BBQ places charge a premium and leave you with what feels like a tiny serving, but that wasn't the case here.
Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The brisket was delicious, and the mac and cheese tasted homemade. They also include BBQ sauce, but honestly, the food was so flavorful that I didn't even feel like it needed it, it's there if you want to add an extra kick.
Overall, this was one of the best BBQ meals I've had in a long time. Great food, generous portions, and excellent value for the money. I would absolutely recommend The Pit Barbecue to anyone who loves great BBQ, and I'll definitely be ordering from them again!

Since Main Event closed, I have been searching fo my new favorite Pulled Pork place. This is it!! The moist, glistening pulled pork is served on a nicely toasted brioche roll. The pork has a nice smoky flavor complimented by a tangy sauce. The sauce has a nice ending note of heat that I love. I always get a side order of it. The baked beans are yummy and the cornbread is a nice addition. The Pit Barbecue is located in the Battle Ground Food Court Pod on Main Street. Door Dash delivers.

Amazing Sampler platter, added in the notes that I wanted collard greens and beans and I received exactly that. The collard greens and beans were both great too, a little spicy. Cornbread came with it as well!

Quantity over quality. ribs were good and plentiful but potato seemed a few days old & all the toppings couldn't save it. Maybe just one bad experience at the wrong time of day. I'll try again in person when they've got collard greens.

This is one of the best deals I've ever gotten and their meats are sooo good! I moved here from Seattle and have been looking for a good fairly priced bbq place and this is it.
