the Red Dynamite Roll is phenomenal! so tasty and delicious. you cannot go wrong with Wild Salmon Maki ... wild sockeye is where it's at. Tom Sushi is always fresh, flavourful, and my favourite West End sushi restaurant. highly recommend.

Tom is ALWAYS consistent, font staff are always welcoming and confirm the order every time for pick up. Wild Salmon Maki is undeniably delicious, love that Tom is willing to substitute wild salmon in any salmon roll. totally worth the upgrade! so flavourful. Tom remains my fav neighbourhood sushi restaurant. always consistent even on their busiest days! id love to see compostable packaging for take out, but I will settle for recyclable.

Was excited to try this place and the fish was very fresh, but most of the special rolls we tried were bland and soaked in mayonnaise. We prefer our go-to sushi places in Kitsilano for overall flavor and value. Chirashi was fresh and had a generous amount of fish but was expensive compared to other places. Salmon aburi was ok but too much mayonnaise and bland compared to others we have tried. Super spider roll was genuinely good, the best thing we tried.

the Prawn Tempura (6 Pieces)tempura was very nice, nice and crispy. unfortunately was not a fan of the Tray A (30 Pieces). the sushi smelled very fishy, obviously i understand that it's fish, however i eat sushi regularly from various different places and it's very rare that it has a smell like that. the portion was fine, i wouldn't say it's enough for 2 people if you're hungry but as a bigger snack it's fine. i found the sushi to be on the bland side. overall i would order the tempura again but definitely not tray A.
