• 26/09/24The Two Meat Plate was good. I had brisket and ribs, potato salad and collard greens. The brisket was very tender and tasty. The ribs were tasty.

• 26/01/26The Half Pound Brisket Burnt Ends and Half Pound Turkey Breast was absolutely delicious! The smoked flavor on the turkey was perfect. Plenty of pickles and onions & BBQ sauce came with it.

I’m not even a potato salad person, but I ordered it anyway—and yeah… I’ll 100% be ordering it again 👀
Let’s talk meats: the sausage had a little peppery kick, but still better than Bill Miller’s IMO.
And the brisket?? Just as good as the pictures. I got the lean and the fatty (fat cap gang, you know what’s up 😮💨). Every bite is being savored.
This plate did NOT miss 🔥🔥🔥

• 22/06/26The good part the brisket is very good, the sides if brisket beans and mac and cheese were good but extremely small. The bad? Have you ever seen those ads about that older black gentleman who is holding a rib and talking about tenderism and the meat falks off the bone? That's not happening with these grizzled, dry and hard meat ribs. Wouldn't recommend

• 26/05/25ONLY FOR REATAURANT: This is my first time ordering from True Texas BBQ E Basse. My rating would have been a 5-star but started out bad from the tea having a crack/slice in the side of the cup and there was 1/8 of beverage when the driver arrived. Worst for him because most of that was in his car
Two important items "that I added to my items" were missing. BREAD AND BBQ SAUCE. C'mon how can you mess that up for a BBQ restauran, but I got plenty of pickes and onions.
Down to the quality. Half Rack St Louis Ribs fantastic and I like how they are not wet sauced, the sauce is glazed. The Quarter Pound Brisket Burnt Ends had the same nice glaze touch of sauce . The Half Pound Brisket is tender but this order too fatty no sauce on the side . Next time, I will try 1/4 lean 1/4 fatty. Mac and Mac & Cheese is like basic shells white cheddar creamy but tasty. Seems like an instant brand though . Potato Salad good. Thats all I have for my first experience. It's a holiday weekend and busy but still this rating 3-star until next time. I probably just had lack of attention in packing extra's
