This used to be my favorite budget sushi place for a nigiri feast, but having had the opportunity to have similarly-priced sushi twice in a month because of birthday kindness: this place has gotten deeply mediocre, if not actively bad.
Trout was awful; scallop tasted a little suspicious and I am very glad it wasn't raw; even the tamagoyaki was a little burnt. The rolls were fine, the salmon and tuna tasted like nothing, and the only good pieces were the striped bass and the eel, and neither were 'I want to savor this a few minutes' good.
I will say, for what sushi costs these days, the portions are good, but the quality is down at 'this place has 2 for 1 specials running' levels- like, I have a bad taste in my mouth, and it's only because I've had similar experiences and been okay that I'm not worried. You can absolutely do better for the price and honestly you might be just as well off paying less.

All the sushi rolls had a taste that was off, the fish wasn't fresh unfortunately.
