The sausages had a peculiar taste, they had almost a dish soapy flavor to it, I've never tasted sausage links like that before. The tater tots also didn't have much flavor, if I didn't know what tater tots looked or taste like I wouldn't know what I was eating. They weren't crispy and like they were too starchy because they would become sorta pasty in my mouth. The only good thing I can say was that the bacon was absolutely delicious though the price for the extra 2 slices of bacon in my opinion is overpriced. I payed almost 4$ for 2 pieces of bacon. I DID want mashed potatoes- but there is a glitch on DoorDash that won't let me get mashed potatoes with any meal from The Pantry. It asks me to make a decision about gravy on them but doesn't give me a button and it won't allow a meal with mashed in my cart at all. I actually tried it with two of the dinner entrees just to see if it would work and the button doesn't. Any other side item can add to an entree- just not mashed. This is an App issue; not the restaurant- I just want them to know.
My husband got the Chicken Terriyaki bowl- with grilled chicken, rice, veggies and pineapple- both of us liked it better than similar bowls you can get at Panera or even a Chipotle. Portions are generous here! You can not beat the consistent high quality of meals being turned out of this restaurant- from breakfast to dinner options they haven't missed a step yet. Def a hidden gem in this area. Again I say; Well done."
