Genes is SO delicious!! I had the hand pulled #2 Lamb hand-pulled noodle soup 羊肉烩面 , tea eggs and lamb skewers. All was delicious!

Gene's is so underrated. Even if it wasn't the only Xi'an restaurant around, it would still be the best.

The #4 Hand-Pulled Noodles 油泼扯面 I got was very bland. Lots of vinegar, but not much else. How can you call your food Chinese if you skimp this much on the spice and flavor? Might as well just call it 醋拌面 or something at this rate.

Xi'an cold noodles not authentic at all. The noodles taste undercooked and are not the thick handpulled noodles that they should be. The restaurant's photo hides that from view. Deceptive. Do not recommend. Go to Q instead.
