the oxtail was TENDER and full of flavor. the rice and beans were cooked to perfection and the plátanos were soft and tender as well. this might be the best plate of oxtail ive had in a minute!

We love to eat at isla cuban Latin kitchen and bar. Wehen we don't want to go out..... we order it for delivery! It is always the best. The EMPANADAS are delicious and the slow cooked pork or beef are my favorite!

This was definitely not worth the money. My mama makes better black beans. The tostones were not crispy nor was the chicharron crispy or crunchy. Nothing tasted as it should. I'd ask for my money back if I thought they would give it to me. The containers were closed but the aji sauce opened and wet the tostones. All in all it was a terrible meal
and I so looked forward to it. I will never order food from here again and if you like Cuban food this is not the place. Tropicana in Downey is much better and it isn't nearly as expensive

Only got 3 pieces of oxtail and the other plate the meat why SUPER dry. I get these two plates often and they've never been like this. Hope it's not going to be a consistent thing

Best Cuban food outside of la cocina de tu abuela.
Picadillo beef, papa rellenas, ropa vieja... Yes, Please.
It is all very good, and we order it a couple times a month.
Very much like my wife's grandmother used to make.
