Every Halal food option in the DMV is just all very similar and most aren't even good. BUT, Sahara really makes good food.
I LOVE their Falafel and N.Y. Cheesecake . It's literally one the best I've had. And they are consistent with the freshness.

Absolutely phenomenal! The sample platter was a perfect showcase of Lebanese flavors—from the creamy hummus and smoky eggplant dip to the vibrant parsley and bulgur salad, crisp falafel, and tender dolma. Adding the lamb kebob took it to another level—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled to perfection.

I'm giving four stars today instead of my usual five. The falafel is usually my favorite but it was bland today. As was the hummus. The tabbouleh was very large and rough chopped with huge chunks of onions that were pretty powerful and overpowered the rest of the dish. The pitas are usually also my fave but they maybe ran out of the normal ones. There were just two flat ones instead of the warm fluffy ones they usually include. Overall not the quality I've come to love about this place but maybe there's just different staff today than normal. I'll still order again!

Everything was delicious. The Gyro Sandwich and the Chicken Shawarma was seasoned to perfection. Very fresh, which is very important.
