The Country Fried Steak is always spot on. Crunchy goodness with delicious sausage gravy. The side 3 eggs cooked over medium was perfectly cooked. The egg yolks were the color of quality and freshness. First time trying the Short Stack of French Toast and OMG. Absolutely Delicious!!! Portions are plentiful, worth every penny

When family members come to visit, they always want to order breakfast from Route 40 Diner. They have the best bacon and pancakes, and potatoes that actually taste like potatoes, with flavor and texture. Other favorites are creamed chipped beef and corned beef hash.

Country Fried Steak is amazingly delicious every time. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The sausage gravy is so good. Pancakes (3 Pieces) ...so good, 1 is a meal in itself. They are big, thick,fluffy goodness. they go out of their way to accommodate any reasonable request. Everything is packaged great. Always plenty of condiments you may need. I highly recommend Route 40 Diner

It's my birthday, and it was as if someone made a special breakfast for my birthday. The scrapple and corned beef hash were wonderfully crispy and brown, the eggs over medium were perfect, the potatoes were perfectly browned. And they have the best bacon around. It was a heavenly feast for us all. Kudos to the chef.
