The Koi never disappoints but I've never ordered take out and the quality was AMAZING even though it was delivery! The Hamachi was fresh and didn't taste warm. The Salmon Skin Roll was insanely delicious, I wanted more! The Bento Regular was filling and heated well the next day for leftovers!

As much as I would like to say that this meal was worth the money, it just wasn't. There were 8 small slices of chicken teriyaki, a small portion of rice and tempura vegetables. The only thing that was good was the veggies and yum yum sauce. Sadly the sushi was bad. Don't get me wrong, sushi is fish but sushi should smell lightly of salty ocean water with a light taste of whatever you are eating. This sushi was bad, like literally bad. It smelled so bad and tasted off so I couldn't even eat it. I've had great food here before so I'm not sure what happened this time but half of my meal was inedible. Pretty disappointing for $60 worth of food.

Outstanding! The chicken katsu and tempura brussel sprouts wet perfectly crisp and the shoyu ramen was so flavorful and comforting. Great portions that were hot and fresh, I highly recommend!

WOW. I am really very tough to please, but my god this was perfect. Not only is the food high quality, and the recipes well-developed, and the preparation relatively flawless, THE SERVICE IS INCREDIBLE. My orders are every resturant's nightmare. I ask for no less than 3 modification per dish, and countless sauces. They graciously accommodated my every request on multiple occasions I got take out and doordash. The food is packaged perfectly. They give you all the accoutrement you could need. Best Japanese Ive had in Tacoma, and def the best service over all. Order from them, leave notes if you need, and definitely leave a good review on here and google. SO PLEASED. DEF ORDER THEIR CRISPY RICE BTW, just add avocado, eel sauve and wasabi mayo on the side. YUM!!!

Maybe this place is better going in & sitting down but for DoorDash it wasn't great the calamari & the sushi tacos were bland & I got 3 sushi rolls no ginger or wasabi came with it. The sushi rolls were pretty good but only 5 pieces in each roll for over $20 is a little crazy the best thing I got was the bento box it's a little pricey but comes with a lot the nigiri was very fresh the beef teriyaki was a little soggy tho strangely. & for 2 tempura shrimps for my udon noodles $25 is too much. I wouldn't order again but i'd maybe try sitting in the restaurant order different things
