Very good size and taste, but it's also quite heavy, so I recommend first timers try conservative portions cause the food's oily and will keep you full a while.

This was my first time trying Penny's hot chicken and I will definitely order again. The chicken tenders were huge and the fries were crispy, even though they were loaded. Great value for your money.

Waffle fries were soft and mealy, rather than hot or crispy. Are they thawing out on the counter? Disappointing as the chicken was tasty and crunchy-coated.

Hated that the coleslaw was just piled next to the chicken and fries, so everything was partially soaked and soggy af mixed together by end of delivery. Very unappetizing, please package wet items like coleslaw separately!

The chicken sandwich - which I have ordered before and reordered tonight - was quite good.  I am a generous rater and if I had only ordered the sandwich I would probably have offered 5 stars.

However, the Waffle Fries - all but two of which are now in my green bin - were unspeakably awful.  They cost almost seven dollars and were inedible.  Soggy, undercooked and flavourless they were a huge disappointment.  Waffle fries come from a food processor - all you have to do to make them "sing" is keep them frozen prior to cooking and then cook them until golden and crispy.  It is quite easy.  I don't know if this restaurant let the fries melt on the counter prior to cooking or undercooked them or both.  However, they were limp, tasteless and soggy.  A total disappointment.

I got the Just the Tenders (2 PC) (BOGO) in very damn hot - spoiler: they're not hot at all BUT they are good! Very large pieces of chicken. Highly recommend!
