I was underwhelmed by my order. This was probably my 3rd experience with Ruthie's. The first time I ate inside. The last time and this time, I ordered takeout. The shrimp enchiladas were just okay. They seem to have switched to small, salad shrimp that were not deveined and aren't a good texture for enchiladas. I was disappointed to be charged 3.25 for white cream sauce instead of ranchera. Just seems a little high, especially when the enchiladas were on the dry side. The rice and beans portions are smaller than most Mexican restaurants. I honestly don't leave reviews very often but I wasn't very happy with this experience.

My order:
Tortilla Soup meh it was more like Olive Garden minestrone. No Mexican flare. Didn't like it and unfortunately ended up tossing it.
Flameado with Mexican Chorizo was fine as expected. Chorizo in it had a good taste.
Solita's Platter was a good little mix of things
Carne Asada overall a 6.9/10 again a small portion and it was bit more steamed than grilled but maybe because it was to go? The flavor needed a little more salt but that's more of a personal salt preference.
Mexican Rice side was very small for $4.50.... should have came in the same size container as the tortilla soup.
Flour tortillas were good since they were handmade.
Overall not bad but nothing amazing. Will try eating at the location to see if it makes a difference.

Queso comes with a 1/2 pint of salsa too, good price for portions. Definitely ordering again

I do not recommend the guac or queso. I paid almost $6 for each of these small little containers.
