This is as close to actual Indian food as you can get in DC. Everything was great. The kadhai mutton was as good as I've had in India. The chicken 65 was a bit more sour than I expected but five stars nonetheless. The kulcha is surprisingly large and soft, and goes well with the curry. Would order again.

The lamb Biryani was ok. Very one note. Asked for medium spicy and it was not spicy at all. Most of the rice was broken and in smaller pieces. Not too much lamb for like $24? Missing a lot of herbs like coriander and lemon etc. Paneer Paratha was ok. Regular plain paratha would have been fine.
The Saag Paneer and Tadka Yellow Dal were good.

Ordered from here for the first time and I am sad to report it was disappointing. The only highlight was the Vegetable Samosa (1 Pcs) it was masive and the filling was good with the sauces provided. The Lamb Rogan Josh is bad. Lamb cooked well but is not a curry?? Just in a brothesque curry with no flavor. Garlic Naan was thick undercooked and also no flavor. Won't be ordering from here again...

The food was simply terrible. The Malai Koftha (dumplings) were hard like golf balls and stone cold. The naan was some of the worst we've ever had---heavy and tasteless. And the rest of the dishes weren't good either.
