NC Donut star consistently has amazing food and drinks. The donuts are always so fresh, fluffy and full of flavor. BEST donuts in the area BY FAR! The iced coffee is also very delicious!

Our family enjoyed the All Special (1/2 Dozen) very much! Would absolutely order again. Fresh, soft, hot, and totally delicious! Perfect sized portion! Size of the donuts does not disappoint .

Bavarian creme filled was perfection. My son liked the Cinnamon Roll, but it's basically a cinnamon flavored giant donut. It's probably not fair that I have eaten many an apple fritter at the Orange Blossom Cafe in Buxton, Hatteras, NC, but there's no comparison. They need a more substantial dough, tarter apples, and less glaze. It was just bad, greasy, flat-tasting....bad. The coconut donut would have been perfect had it been a tad less sweet. The lemon filled was delish. The vanilla cream filled is way too sweet,too. All in all, a mixed bag.
